process
The initial consultation (for a nominal fee) usually takes place at the potential job site, where I retrieve relevant information from the client and provide an estimate for the design. Upon acceptance, the client makes a down payment for one third of the fees, another third is due at the preliminary review, and the last third upon delivery of the final plan. After gathering dimensions, photographs, surveys, and other important information, I develop a preliminary plan for the site. The next meeting with the client is a review of the preliminary plan to ensure the client's complete satisfaction. The final stage is the production of a master plan, to scale, including all information necessary for successful implementation. Because every project is different, French Accent Landscape Architecture offers design services, contractor recommendations, and construction/installation supervision.
